Shrimp Creole
Shrimp Creole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour, 1 medium onion, chopped, 1 (16 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes, diced, 1 (8 pz.) can tomato sauce and 1/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Put flour in dry 1 1/2 quart Dutchoven.
Cook over low heat until light brown, stirring frequently. Add onion and diced tomatoes; cook until onions are translucent.
Stir in remaining ingredients, except shrimp, mixing well.
Cover and simmer 20 to 30 minutes or until green pepper is tender and sauce is bubbly; stir often.
Add shrimp.
Simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until shrimp are hot; stir once or twice.
Do not overcook or shrimp will become tough.
