Sherried Chicken
Sherried Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. flour, 1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut into serving pieces, 3/4 c. oleo, 1/2 c. dry sherry and 2 tbsp. soy sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Coat chicken pieces with flour.
Melt 1/2 cup of oleo; brown chicken on all sides and place chicken pieces in a covered baking dish.
In a saucepan, combine remaining oleo, sherry, soy sauce, lemon juice and ginger.
Bring to a boil; stir and pour over the chicken.
Bake in a preheated 350Β° oven for about 1 hour or until tender.
Turn chicken once during baking.
