Sesame Fried Chicken
Sesame Fried Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 or 3 lb. chicken wing drummettes, 2 c. orange juice, 2 garlic cloves, grated fine, 1 ginger clove, grated fine and 4 tbsp. each: soy sauce, sake or white wine and sesame seed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Rub chicken with salt and pepper.
Combine orange juice, garlic, ginger, sake (or white wine) and soy sauce.
Stir well. Place chicken in a shallow container and pour mixture over top. Cover and let stand at least 30 minutes until half day in the refrigerator.
Combine sesame seed, cornstarch and flour; stir well.
Dredge chicken in flour mixture, coating well.
Cook in hot oil until browned, turning to brown both sides.
