Scalloped Tomatoes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 tbsp. olive oil, 2 c. french bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes, 16 ripe plum tomatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes, 2 cloves garlic, minced and 1 tbsp. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat the oven to 350Β°.
Place 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet.
Add the bread cubes and stir to coat.
Saute over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until the bread is lightly browned.

Sprinkle with sugar.
Cook, stirring frequently for 5 minutes.
