Scalloped Oysters
Scalloped Oysters is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. oysters, 1 to 2 c. cracker crumbs, 3/4 c. butter, melted, 1/2 to 1 tsp. salt and 2 tsp. chopped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Drain oysters, reserving liquid.
Mix crumbs and butter. Grease casserole and line bottom with 1/2 of the crumbs.
Add half of the oysters; sprinkle lightly with nutmeg, pepper and parsley. Repeat crumbs, oysters layer and season.
Combine Worcestershire sauce, salt and liquid.
Pour over casserole.
Top with crumb mixture and bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
