Sausage, Potatoes and Peppers
Sausage, Potatoes And Peppers is an easy dinner. Made with 4 baking potatoes, peeled and cut into 8 pieces, 2 green peppers, seeded and thin sliced, 1 small onion, sliced, 8 (6-inch) pieces italian sausage (mild or hot) and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Place potatoes in a single layer in a 2-inch deep baking pan. Next layer peppers and onion. Top with sausage.
Add water to pan to 1/2-inch deep. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with foil. Bake for 1 1/2 hours. Remove foil. Add more water if it seems dry.
Continue baking for an additional 45 minutes until sausage is browned and done.
(Turn sausage halfway.)
