Sausage Biscuits
Sausage Biscuits is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, shredded, 1 lb. hot or mild bulk pork sausage (uncooked) and 3 c. dry biscuit mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat together the shredded sharp Cheddar cheese and uncooked hot or mild sausage in a large saucepan; stir together with wooden spoon until cheese has melted.
Stir in the biscuit mix until smooth.
Cool, then chill for about an hour for easier handling. Form into balls about the size of a nickle or slightly larger. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove; place on paper towels to drain.
Serve warm. These sausage balls freeze beautifully after baking.
Simply place in a slow oven to heat thoroughly before serving.
Yields at least 4 dozen.
