Santa's Fudge
Santa'S Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1/3 c. cocoa, dash of salt, 2/3 c. water and 2 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Butter the sides of a heavy 2-quart pan.
In it combine sugar, cocoa, salt, water and butter.
Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.
Cook to soft ball stage (234°), stirring only if necessary.
Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm (110°), without stirring.
Add vanilla.
Beat vigorously until fudge becomes very thick and starts to gloss.
Quickly stir in nuts and spread in buttered pan.
Cut when firm.
