Roy's Chicken
Roy'S Chicken is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 12 minutes. Made with c. soy sauce, c. dry white wine, . hoisin sauce, . fresh ginger and . lemon peel, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix the soy sauce, wine, hoisin, ginger, lemon peel, lemon juice and pepper.
Pour into a large sturdy plastic bag.
Add the chicken; seal bag and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. Before cooking, drain chicken and discard marinade.
Arrange chicken side down in a single layer in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Bake uncovered in a 400Β° oven for 15 minutes.
Turn chicken over, skin side up, and cook another 10 minutes for breasts (20 minutes for legs and thighs) or until meat is no longer pink when slashed.
