Reuben Casserole
Reuben Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 slices rye bread, 3 eggs, 1 c. sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained, 8 oz. cooked ham, cut in cubes and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Spread one side of bread slices with butter.
Stack and cut in 1-inch cubes.
Place in greased 12 x 8-inch baking dish.
Add ham, cheese and sauerkraut; toss to mix.
With fork beat the eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper.
Pour over bread mixture.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes at 350Β°, until top is lightly browned and egg mixture is set.
Makes 4 main dish servings.
