Red Beans and Rice
Red Beans And Rice is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. dry red beans, 1/2 lb. salt pork, 3 c. onions, 1 bunch green onions and 1 c. fresh parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Soak beans overnight for 4 to 6 hours. Drain beans, rinse and place in large pot.
Cover with water and add diced salt pork. Cook 45 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients, except rice.
Simmer until beans are tender, a couple of hours.
May have to add water throughout cooking period.
Serve over hot cooked rice.
