Prune Cake
Prune Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 c. butter (or shortening) and 1 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Sift flour once.
Add baking soda and spices then sift 3 times.
Cream butter thoroughly, add sugar gradually and cream together until light and fluffy.
Add eggs and prunes.
Then add flour alternately with milk, a small amount at a time.
Beat well after each addition.
Bake in two layer pans at 350Β° for 25 to 30 minutes.
Spread caramel frosting between layers and on top and sides.
May also be served unfrosted.
