Potato Vegetable Chowder
Potato Vegetable Chowder is an impressive soup you can prepare in about 1 hour 10 minutes. Made with . margarine, c. chopped onion, . flour, cube chicken bouillon and . thyme, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In saucepan, over low heat, melt margarine.
Stir in onion. Saute until tender.
Stir in flour, bouillon, thyme and pepper. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly, until smooth and bubbly. Gradually stir in milk and water.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.
Stir in potatoes, ham and vegetables. Reduce heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Makes 4 (1 1/2 cup) servings. Freezes well.
