Pineapple Salad
Pineapple Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 - 20 oz. can crushed pineapple, 3 tbsp. sugar, 3 tbsp. flour, 2 eggs and 1 tbsp. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Drain juice from pineapple and add it to well-mixed sugar and flour, set aside. Beat eggs and add them, along with the butter, to the juice mix. Cook this mixture over medium heat until it thickens. Watch closely and lower heat, if needed, so it doesn't scorch or burn, stirring constantly. Cool; add to pineapple. Fold in marshmallows, nuts and bananas. Mix well before serving. Keep refrigerated.
Serves: 12-15.
