Peanut Butter Pie
Peanut Butter Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. powdered sugar, 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter, 1/4 c. cornstarch, 1/2 tsp. salt, divided and 3 eggs, separated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix powdered sugar and peanut butter.
Place 2/3 of mixture in bottom of baked pie shell, called "crumbs".
In a saucepan, combine cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon salt, egg yolks, vanilla, sugar, milk, butter and peanut butter.
Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly.
Pour over crumbs.
Beat together 3 egg whites, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 3 tablespoons sugar until stiff. Pour over pie.
Sprinkle on rest of crumbs.
Bake for 20 minutes at 325Β°.
