Peanut Butter Fudge
Peanut Butter Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. white sugar, 1 c. sour cream, 2/3 c. white corn syrup, 1/2 tsp. salt and 2 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Combine white sugar, sour cream, white corn syrup, butter and salt in a heavy pan.
Bring very slowly to a boil, stirring until all sugar has melted.
Cover and boil without stirring for 3 minutes, so all sugar crystals are dissolved.
Uncover and boil on medium heat to 240Β°.
Remove from heat and let stand for 15 minutes.
Do not stir.
Then add vanilla and beat until mixture begins to lose its gloss.
Add peanut butter and continue beating (add nuts).
Entire baking time takes from 8 to 10 minutes.
