Peach Pie
Peach Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. fresh peaches, 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 c. water, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, diluted with 1/4 c. water and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Dip peaches in boiling water and remove skins.
Brush peaches with lemon juice.
Slice about 1/2-inch thick.
Prepare glaze with sugar, water and cornstarch mixture.
Mix well and cook until thick and clear, stirring constantly.
Add salt.
Pour hot glaze over sliced peaches and mix gently.
Pour into pie crust that has been first sprinkled with dry bread crumbs.
Cover with top crust that has been pricked with a fork or any design desired.
Bake 40 to 45 minutes in a 400Β° oven.
