Pastitsio
Pastitsio is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce and 1/4 c. dry red wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
In a large skillet cook meat, onion, and garlic until meat is brown and onion is tender.
Drain fat.
Stir in tomato sauce, wine, parsley, oregano, salt and cinnamon.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Gradually stir meat mixture into one of the eggs; set aside.
