Slice pork to rind (not all the way through).

Freshen pork by boiling to get out salt.

May have to be done twice.

Add fresh water and cook until tender.

Save liquid to add to beans.

Cook beans in large pan with baking soda.

Bring to boil.

Pour off water and add fresh water.

Cook until skins start to fall off. Place in casserole.

Add liquid from pork.

Place pork on top of beans.

Bake at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours or until beans are brown. Add more water while cooking so beans do not dry out, then enjoy!
