Oatmeal Bread(No-Knead)
Oatmeal Bread(No-Knead) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. boiling water, 1 c. quick-cooking oatmeal, 2 pkg. active dry yeast, 5 1/2 c. flour and 1/3 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine water, oatmeal, shortening, molasses and salt.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add yeast; mix well.
Blend in eggs.
Add flour; mix well.
Dough will be softer than kneaded dough.
Place in greased bowl and cover.
Store in cold place at least 2 hours or until needed.
On well-floured board, shape dough into 2 loaves to fit 9 x 5-inch pan and 12 x 4-inch pan.
Pans should be greased and floured.
Cover and let rise in warm place until double in size about 2 hours.
Bake 1 hour in 350Β° oven.
Cool on racks.
