Nutty Macaroons
Nutty Macaroons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 egg whites (at room temperature), 1/8 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract and 1 c. flaked coconut, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat oven to 350Β°. Combine egg whites and salt in a large mixer bowl.
Beat at medium speed until foamy. Add sugar gradually, beating at high speed until very stiff peaks form. Blend in vanilla. Fold in coconut and pecans gently.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets lined with baking parchment.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until light brown. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
Yields 1 1/2 dozen.
