New Potatoes Gratiner is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 stick margarine, 1/4 c. warm water, 1 small onion, finely chopped, 1/4 c. finely chopped parsley and 1 medium garlic clove, minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Grease a 13 x 9-inch Pyrex dish.
Trim mushroom stems flush with cap.
Thinly slice lengthwise.
In large bowl, toss potatoes, mushrooms, onion, parsley, 2 ounces cheese, garlic, salt, pepper and 1 1/2 tablespoons melted butter.
Place in prepared dish.
Mix 1/4 cup warm water with 1 1/2 cups heavy cream and pour over potatoes.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Dot with butter.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
As soon as cheese browns, cover with loose tent of foil and continue baking.
