New England Clam Chowder
New England Clam Chowder is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 cans minced clams, 5 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1 1/2 c. chopped onions, 3 c. bottle clam juice and 2 c. boiling water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Drain clams and reserve juice.
Melt the butter in a large saucepan.
Saute the onions for 10 minutes, stirring frequently. Add the bottled clam juice and reserved clam juice, water, potatoes and pepper.
Cover and cook over low heat for 25 minutes. Add clams and cook 5 more minutes.
