My Version of Canadian Pork Pie
My Version Of Canadian Pork Pie is an easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. bulk sausage (i use mild flavor, but suit yourself), 1 onion, chopped, 2 to 3 potatoes and pie crust for two-crust pie (9 to 10-inch pan), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Cook sausage and onion together, crumbling it up as it cooks until cooked through but not browned.
Drain well on paper towels. Peel potatoes, slice and boil just until soft.
Drain and mash with a little milk (should seem a little dry for mashed potatoes). Add the sausage and mix with mixer until mixed well and sausage pieces are quite small.
