My Mother'S Eggnog is an easy dinner. Made with 13 large eggs, at room temperature, 3/4 c. granulated sugar, 1 1/2 c. brandy, rum or bourbon, 2 c. whipping cream, whipped and freshly ground nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Separate eggs.
Place in 2 large mixing bowls.
Add 6 tablespoons of sugar to each bowl.
Beat egg yolks and sugar until thick and deep yellow in color.
