Mushroom Casserole
Mushroom Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. fresh mushrooms, 6 slices bread, buttered and cubed, 1/2 c. grated cheese, 1/2 c. chopped onion and 1/2 c. celery, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix the onion, celery, green pepper and mayonnaise.
Mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
Saute mushrooms lightly.
Layer bread, mushrooms and onion mixture in baking dish.
Pour over all the milk/egg mixture.
Add 1 can mushroom soup just before baking. Sprinkle buttered bread crumbs on top and bake at 325Β° for 50 minutes, uncovered.
Sprinkle with grated cheese and continue baking for 10 minutes.
