Mrs. Sanderson's Pecan Pie
Mrs. Sanderson'S Pecan Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. sugar, 1/2 c. light corn syrup, 1/4 c. margarine, 3 eggs, slightly beaten and 1 c. pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Combine sugar, corn syrup and margarine.
Cook on low to medium heat until hot to touch and margarine melts.
Remove from heat and very slowly pour mixture into beaten eggs, stirring constantly as you pour.
Add pecans or walnuts and vanilla.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 35 to 45 minutes or until pie is not shaky in the center.
