Mocha Cheesecake
Mocha Cheesecake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. chocolate wafers, finely crushed, 1/3 c. butter, 1/2 tsp. sugar, 2 (1 oz.) sweet chocolate sq. and 2 (8 oz.) pkg. philly cream cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Combine wafer crumbs, butter and 1/3 cup sugar.
Butter sides and bottom of an 8-inch spring-form pan.
Press crumb mixture evenly onto bottom of pan.
Melt chocolate over hot, but not boiling water.
Stir until smooth.
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, to cream cheese.
Gradually add 3/4 cup of sugar, mixing well, until blended.
Add melted chocolate, instant coffee and salt.
Stir until blended.
