Mike's Peanut Brittle
Mike'S Peanut Brittle is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. white karo, 1/2 c. water, 2 1/2 tbsp. butter and 2 c. raw peanuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cook sugar, Karo and water in big kettle until it reaches crack stage, 275° on a candy thermometer.
Add peanuts, stirring until it reaches 300°.
Remove from fire and add vanilla, soda and butter. Stir until butter melts.
Pour out on 2 1/2 feet of foil that has been buttered thoroughly, stretching candy to desired thickness as it cools.
When cool, break in pieces and store in airtight container.
