Mexican Lasagna
Mexican Lasagna is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef, 1 pkg. lawry's taco seasoning mix, 1 tsp. lawry's seasoned salt, 1 c. diced tomatoes (fresh or canned) and 2 cans (8 oz.) tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In large skillet, brown ground beef, drain fat.
Add taco seasoning mix, seasoned salt, tomatoes, tomato sauce and chiles. Blend well and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, simmer 10 minutes (uncovered).
In small bowl, combine Ricotta cheese and eggs.
In bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish, spread 1/2 of meat mixture. Top with 5 tortillas and top with 1/2 Ricotta cheese mixture. Top with 1/2 Monterey Jack cheese, repeat layering, ending with cheese. Bake, uncovered, in 350Β° oven 20 to 30 minutes.
Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
