Maryland Lady Crab Cakes
Maryland Lady Crab Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. maryland crab meat, 1 c. italian seasoned bread crumbs, 1 large egg (or 2 small), about 1/4 c. mayonnaise and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Remove all cartilage from crab meat.
In a bowl, mix crumbs, egg, mayonnaise and seasonings.
Add crab meat and mix gently but thoroughly.
If mixture is too dry, add a little more mayonnaise. Shape into 6 cakes.
Cook cakes in just enough fat to prevent sticking until browned, about 5 minutes on each side.
