Marinated Chevre (Goat Cheese)
Marinated Chevre (Goat Cheese) is an easy dinner. Made with 1 log goat or sheep's milk cheese (available at local farm or health food stores), 1/4 to 1/3 c. best quality olive oil, assorted dried and fresh herbs (i use dill, rosemary, coriander and basil) to taste, pink peppercorns (optional, but very pretty) and freshly ground pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Place goat cheese (Chevre) on a plate.
Sprinkle dried or fresh herbs on top.
Pour olive oil over cheese and let marinate for at least 1 hour.
Serve with good quality crackers or French bread.
