Marigold Cake
Marigold Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. softened butter, 1 c. caster sugar, 4 eggs, beaten, 2 c. plain flour and grated rind of 1 lemon and one orange, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream butter with sugar and add eggs, one at a time.
Sift flour with baking powder and fold into creamed mixture.
Add grated rinds and marigold petals.
Spoon into prepared 2-pound loaf pan or 2 (1 pound) loaf pans.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for about 1 hour for 2-pound tin; about 40 minutes for 1-pound. Sprinkle with granulated sugar about halfway through if desired. Cool 5 minutes.
Remove from tin.
Serve just when cool.
Keeps well and can be frozen.
