Low Calorie Gravy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can beef or chicken broth, 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 tbsp. butter, 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour and 2 tbsp. dry white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Add enough water to broth to make 2 cups.
Gradually stir into cornstarch in small bowl until smooth.
Melt butter in small, heavy saucepan over medium heat.
Stir in flour.
Cook, stirring for 1 minute.
Stir broth cornstarch mixture again; add all at once to saucepan.
Add wine, celery salt and thyme.
Bring to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Lower heat.
Simmer 1 minute, stirring.
Makes 2 cups.
