Lorri's Chile Relleno Casserole
Lorri'S Chile Relleno Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. half and half, 2 eggs, 1/3 c. flour, 3 (4 oz.) cans ortega whole green chiles and 1/2 lb. jack cheese, grated, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Butter a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Beat half and half with eggs and flour until smooth.
Split open chiles, rinse out seeds and drain on paper towels.
Mix cheeses, reserve 1/2 cup of cheese for topping.
Make alternate layers of remaining cheeses, chiles and egg mixture in casserole dish.
Pour tomato sauce over top and sprinkle with reserved cheese.
Bake 1 1/4 hours or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
