Linguini with Clam Sauce
Linguini With Clam Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. linguini, cooked and drained, 1 to 2 cloves garlic, minced, 2 tbsp. oil, 2 tbsp. butter and 1 (8 oz.) bottle clam juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook and drain the linguini.
In large frying pan, saute garlic in oil and butter (slightly), just so oil mixture is flavored (but do not brown garlic).
Add clam juice and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
Add the clams and allow to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
Add pasta, parsley and pepper, tossing lightly to combine all ingredients.
Add the cheese, toss lightly to combine all ingredients.
Simmer 5 to 10 minutes, to allow pasta to absorb all the flavors and heat everything.
Serve with extra cheese.
