Linguine with Clam Sauce
Linguine With Clam Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 garlic clove, 3 tbsp. olive oil, 3 tbsp. butter and 2/3 c. chicken broth, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Melt butter and oil.
In skillet, cook onion and garlic.
Stir in chicken broth, wine, oregano, dash of pepper and salt to taste and reserved clam liquid.
Simmer for about 20 minutes.
Add clams to sauce to heat through.
Cook linguine; drain.
Add sauce to linguine along with grated cheese and toss.
Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
