Linguine with Clam Sauce
Linguine With Clam Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans minced clams, 1/3 c. chopped onions, 2 cloves garlic, 1 tbsp. olive oil or cooking oil and 1/3 c. dry white wine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Drain clams, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.
Set aside.
In medium skillet, cook onion and garlic in hot oil for about 4 minutes or until onions are tender.
Carefully add the reserved clam liquid, wine, basil or oregano and red pepper.
Bring the mixture to a boil and boil gently for 4 to 5 minutes.
Reduce heat and add clams.
Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
In large bowl, toss pasta and clam mixture until well coated.
Serve immediately.
