Light Beer Stew
Light Beer Stew is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 lb. stew meat, vegetable cooking spray, 1 tsp. vegetable oil, 1 c. chopped onion and 1 (12 oz.) can light beer, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Cut meat into cubes.
Coat heavy pan with cooking spray; add oil.
Place over medium-high heat.
When oil is hot, add meat; cook until well browned, turning to cook on all sides.
Reduce heat to medium-low; add onion and cook until onion is tender and lightly browned.
Stir in beer, spices, carrots and mushrooms; bring to a boil.
Cover; reduce heat and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Combine cornstarch and water; stir until blended.
Stir into meat mixture.
Cook uncovered 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaves before serving.
