Lentil Soup
Lentil Soup is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 c. raw rinsed lentils, 7 c. water or stock, 2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. minced garlic and 1 chopped red onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In large pot, simmer lentils, water and salt.
Cover 3 to 4 hours.
Add garlic, onion, celery and carrots and simmer another hour.
About 30 minutes before serving, add tomatoes, wine, lemon juice and black pepper.
Season to taste.
