Lemon Pudding
Lemon Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 4 tbsp. flour, 2 tbsp. butter, 1/8 tsp. salt and 5 tbsp. lemon juice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Add milk to beaten egg yolks.
In a large bowl, cream sugar, flour and butter.
Add rest of ingredients except the egg whites. Beat egg whites stiff and fold into mixture.
Pour into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Set casserole in pan of hot water in a 350Β° oven for 45 minutes, uncovered.
It will be slightly brown on top.
Cake will be on top and pudding on the bottom.
Include a little of each in each serving.
Make it morning it is to be served.
Serve at room temperature or cold with a whipped cream, if you like.
