Lemon Ginger Rice
Lemon Ginger Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. ginger ale, 1 c. water, 1 c. long grain white rice, 1 tbsp. grated lemon peel and 1/2 tsp. ground ginger, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
In a 2 to 3-quart pan bring ginger ale and water to a boil over high heat.
Stir in rice, lemon peel and ginger; cover and turn heat to low.
Cook until rice is tender to bite and liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
Remove from heat and fluff rice with a fork, then mix in the wheat germ and serve with salt if wanted. Yields 4 to 5 servings.
