Iced Gingerbread
Iced Gingerbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. ginger, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. baking soda and 1 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease and flour a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Mix together dry ingredients.
In a bowl, mix together milk, butter, honey, egg and ginger.
Make a well in center of flour. Add milk all at once; toss with a fork until dry ingredients are just mixed (do not overmix).
Spoon batter into pan.
Bake until brown and tests done, about 55 to 60 minutes.
Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes.
Loosen loaf by running a metal spatula around side of pan.
Turn loaf out onto rack to cool completely.
