Hungarian Beef
Hungarian Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. round steak, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 clove garlic, minced, 1 c. water and 1/2 c. catsup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cut round steak into strips about 2 x 1/2-inches.
Heat heavy frying pan to very hot.
Add meat and stir to begin browning.
Add onion and cook until beef is browned.
Add garlic.
Reduce heat to medium.
Add 1 cup water, catsup, brown sugar, Worcestershire, paprika and mustard.
Simmer until meat is tender, about 30 minutes.
Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup water, add to meat mixture and stir until sauce has thickened.
Remove from heat and pour over noodles.
