Hot Milk Cake
Hot Milk Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 1 c. milk and 1/2 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Heat milk and butter until milk is scalded and butter is melted.
Blend flour, salt and baking powder.
Beat eggs and add sugar until light and thick.
Add flour mixture and blend well. Pour in milk mixture and beat on high until cool. (Batter will be very thin.) Beat in vanilla.
Pour into greased tube pan (or 2 loaf pans) and bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes. May be used for shortcakes or pound cake.
