Hot and Sour Soup
Hot And Sour Soup is an impressive dinner. Made with 4 to 6 oz. boneless pork, 1 tbsp. oil, 4 c. chicken broth, 8 oz. can bamboo shoots, drained and 1 can bean sprouts, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Slice pork in thin, bite-size pieces.
Cook in 3-quart saucepan in hot oil until brown.
Remove pork and set aside.
In same pan, bring chicken broth to a boil.
Add pork, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts and mushrooms.
Simmer 5 minutes.
Add vinegar, soy sauce and pepper.
Blend cornstarch in cold water.
Stir into soup, stirring until slightly thickened.
Continue stirring and add egg.
Garnish with onions and serve.
