Homemade Macaroni & Cheese
Homemade Macaroni & Cheese is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 oz. elbow macaroni (3/4 box), 2 large eggs, 3 tbsp. unsalted butter or margarine, 1 1/2 cups milk and 8 oz. grated cheddar cheese (2 cups), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Preheat oven to 375. Boil macaroni until tender not soggy (about 8 minutes), drain well and transfer to a large bowl.
Mix macaroni with remaining ingredients reserving 1/4 cup of milk and 1/4 cup cheese.
Pour ingredients into baking dish, pour reserved milk over top and sprinkle with reserved cheese.
Bake until top is golden brown about 25 minutes.
