Homemade Gravy
Homemade Gravy is an easy dinner. Made with pan drippings (chicken, beef or pork), self-rising flour, hot water, salt to taste and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

After cooking your meat, pour off grease until just bottom of pan is covered.
Add salt and pepper.
Stir in 2 to 3 heaping tablespoonfuls of flour.
Cook, stirring constantly, until nice brown roux (just before scorching).
Have hot water in bowl ready. Pour about half of water into roux.
Mixture will be thin.
Cook over medium heat, constantly stirring, until desired consistency is reached.
Tastes great with homemade biscuits and scrambled eggs.
