Hiker Bars
Hiker Bars is an easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. honey, 1 1/2 c. peanut butter, 5 c. whole grain cereal flakes and 16 oz. dried fruit bits (reserve 1/3 in separate bowl), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
In large saucepan, stir in brown sugar and honey.
Bring to a boil.
Stir constantly and remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter until smooth.
Stir in whole grain cereal flakes.
Stir in mixed dried fruit bits until well coated.
Spread into greased pan.
Press reserved fruit bits on top.
Cut into bars and wrap each in plastic wrap.
