Herbed Green Beans
Herbed Green Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. fresh or frozen green beans, 1 large clove garlic, minced, 2/3 c. onion, sliced, 3 tbsp. olive oil and 2 c. tomatoes, chopped and seeded, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Blanch beans in boiling, salted water for 2 to 3 minutes until not quite tender.
Drain, refresh in cold water and dry.
Saute garlic and onion in oil until tender, but not browned.
Add tomatoes, beans and salt and pepper.
Simmer 2 to 3 minutes until beans are tender-crisp.
Add fresh herbs and cheese just before serving.
Garnish with additional parsley.
Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
